Rip It Up and Start Again is out.
There will be a postpunk panel discussion in London on April 27 chaired by me and featuring:
Howard Devoto
Paul Morley
Gina Birch
Richard Boon
Event starts: 8:30.
BUT
informal RIU&SA celebration starts from 7 onwards, you are invited to get me so drunk I am incapable of fulfilling my panel duties.
Free admission
After the panel there will be the screening of a 60 min video compiling footage of bands including New Order, the Fall, Cabaret Voltaire, Pop Group, Magazine, PIL, Orange Juice, Josef K... and more drinking

that gloomcore rave DROP THE BOMB III -- Friday 29th April, w/ The Mover live, Manu Le Malin, Stickhead et al--is now taking place at a different venue:

(nearest British Rail /Underground station is London Bridge, 5 min walk)
but apparently this means "the party will now be BIGGER and LOUDER than before! 25K NEXO Alpha sound system - MAC 250 surround lighting - fully air conditioned - late bar - 125 space car park - - large chill out area - projections – lasers – korrectke atmosphere"
definitely think i might drop in on this RIU&SA promotional duties permitting

Directions from London Bridge UNDERGROUND station: Take the Borough High Street exit and turn left (so you are walking away from River Thames). You will see an HSBC bank (on the right) on the corner of Southwark Street. Turn right down Southwark Street and walk approx 300 yards passing underneath a bridge until you see the Union Car park on your left. Walk through the car park and you're there!

You will see an HSBC bank (on the right) on the corner of Southwark Street.
